MIchigan Requirements
Michigan has special licensing requirements that Crashed Toys and Salvage Direct buyers must satisfy.
Most of our buyers can purchase the majority of vehicles in auction as long as they have a dealer, dismantler, salvage, junk, scrapper, rebuilder or related license.
Section 248 of the Michigan Vehicle Code (MCL 257.248) provides that any person, partnership, or corporation engaging in business as any type of vehicle dealer in Michigan must be licensed by the Michigan Department of State. The Bureau of Regulatory Services oversees this licensing activity. Other auto-related businesses, such as motor vehicle repair facilities and automotive mechanics, are also licensed by the Department of State.
Michigan requires you purchase a specific license to purchase certain titles and/or have access to the salvage pools in the state.
